Position includes policy development, risk management, benefits administration, employee orientation, and other responsibilities based on the incumbent s expertise. Minimum requirements include experience developing policies and procedures, BS/BA in Human Resources, Public Administration with significant H.R. exposure. Master s in HR or Public Administration helpful. SPHR certification, experience with HRIS, supervisory experience, financial skills and local government experience in a union environment also desired. Those with general management backgrounds (local government managers) with broad H.R. and risk management responsibilities will be considered.
