  Leading firm seeks a Consultant for a Financial Systems Group, to handle work on CONSOLIDATION Projects and handle Financial Reporting for a mission-critical Accounting/Reporting project in New York City/Manhattan. CHALLENGES Responsible for Client support for all firm & client Consolidation related inquiries ? Liaise with (our Clearing Firm) and in-house staff ? Research and resolution for inquiries ? Reporting responsibilities ? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ? Understanding of the GL processes a plus. ? Skills with  Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, lookups, Macros, etc), MS Access and VBA experience - eConnect Upload Tool a plus - Creation and maintenance of standard financial and management reports - Facilitation and review of finance data mappings- Tracking  manual journal uploads part of the monthly close process - User access and security; ensure proper segregation of duties - User support including help desk function and formal training as needed * Experience in the financial service industry preferred * Accounting/Finance background a plus NOTE- we are not seeking an Architect level professional, this position is for a person with intermediate level experience Please email a WORD resume and your desired  hourly rate (w2 or corp-to -corp)  to Nancy Lan at"F1TechSolutions@yahoo.com" NOTE_Due to large response, not all applicants will receive a reply.
