Claims Processing Supervisor Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervisor of the claims processing department and manages the daily functions while maintaining performance standards, professionalism, and team leadership.  Is a direct reporter to the State of Alaska our client and represents the ACS Company.   • Extensive interface with Alaska Medicaid providers and various State agencies as to Alaska Medicaid Policy and interpreter of the provider manual guidelines.  • Experience in billing of medical claims and claims resolution. • Provide claims resolution support to the Pends team along with Appeals. • Researches, reviews, and responds to all system alerts from all State agencies. • Coordinates with staff on updates with the edit audit manual and trains staff accordingly. • Manages staff by company policy and works with management team to improve process procedures, work flow, and special projects.  • Respond to all claims inquires to all internal departments at ACS.  REQUIRED (minimum):
• Strong claims, communication, and management skills • Experience in building/maintaining customer relationships • Bachelors degree or related work experience • 5 years experience in medical operations • Excellent oral and written communication skills PREFERRED:
