POSITION DESCRIPTION ACE INATITLE:
Executive UnderwriterDevelop profitable environmental business through brokers and non-traditional sources. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES*Implements product line underwriting objectives by review, evaluation, selection and pricing insurance programs* Generates new business revenues by developing prospects, visiting assigned producers, participating in direct presentations and negotiating programs and cross marketing within the ACE organization* Provides primary communication and direction for all processing requirements including policy issuance instruction, endorsement requests, billing requirements and audit review* Maintains service standards by timely response to broker requests and timely receipt of collateral and agreements in addition to meeting deadlines on submissions of quotations, certificates and/or policies* Coordinates as necessary with various departments, including Financial, Actuarial, Billing, ESIS and COU.SCOPEExpect to develop Ace Environmental products and market presence and book of business through direct prospect and producer development, maintain service standards and assist in development of the company?s strategic direction and growth.Travel is expected to meet with clients.This position reports to the Regional Manager - Assistant Vice President of ACE Environmental Risk.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS*Five to ten years in Environmental Underwriting.BA/BS in insurance, business or environmental science or engineering.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONSMasters or Advanced degree in business, insurance or environmental scienceACE offers a competitive salary plus cash bonus, equity opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package including life, health, dental, vision, a generous retirement savings plan with a generous company match, disability coverage, stock purchase plan, flexible spending accounts, tuition reimbursement, and business casual dress.Sound like the right job for you?
