Summary:
   This position is fully responsible for organizing and coordinating all shift activities to assure product quality, maximize people and machine productivity and optimize shift (team) capability and effectiveness.   The supervisor is expected to develop and lead employees to seek excellence and to accept ownership of their responsibilities. - Communicates with employees at start of shift to establish work priorities; maintain good working relationships and to meet production goals. - Adheres to machine priorities, operational sequences and related production issues in order to meet customer requirements. - Reviews all production documentation at start of shift to resolve any discrepancies, irregularities, safety issues or other concerns with departing shift leader before accepting responsibility for shift. - Keeps others fully informed of shift activities by communicating all relevant information in supervisors? log book. - Audits defect logs regularly to monitor scrap and productivity.
