Title Requisition Number 6943BR Job Function Sales Business Unit Engineered Products & Solutions Location OH-Cleveland Job Status Full-Time Relocation Eligible Yes Minimum Education Required High School or GED Minimum Years of Experience 4 Minimum Travel Required 50-75% Position Description The principle challenge of this position is to manage existing Aerospace Extrusions, Forgings, Rod/Bar & Tubing Product accounts in the East Region Territory for Alcoa Forgings & Extrusions (AFE). Expectation for general account management & the identification and cultivation of new target opportunities in the Aerospace marketplace for products produced by Lafayette Operations (IN), Chandler Operations (AZ), Messena (NY), Cleveland (OH) and Halethorpe Extrusions (MD), plus AFE's other global operations in Germany + Russia + Korea. The incumbent is expected to conduct all aspects of account management & sales prospecting to insure that the volume, revenue, and profit objectives of the annual territory plan are met or exceeded. Responsibilities include:
meeting/exceeding volume/revenue goals, monthly forecasting input, growth projects at existing and targeted new customers, accounts receivables goals, and overall customer satisfaction and representation of AFE to our customer base. The incumbent is also expected to have solid communication with Sales & Marketing Management, Manufacturing, Production Planning, Quality and Cost Accounting, Credit Organization and Application Engineering disciplines for the success of the business plan. This position is being posted at a range of job grades (18-19). Job grade will be dependent on education and experience level of the incumbent. The location for this position is flexible with selected candidate being based in Lafayette, Cleveland or East City. Basic Qualifications A level of knowledge required that is usually acquired through a combination of a formal education and commercial experience. A Bachelor's Degree or equal experience is required. Demonstrated skills in negotiation, organization, Oracle-EBS navigation, communication, human relations, team leadership, and innovation/creativity are also required.
