The Research Assistant under general administrative supervision conducts a variety of established research and clinic functions. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  Has a thorough knowledge of the research protocols and serves as a resource person to the clinicians and study coordinators Administers neuropsychological, lifestyle and physical function tests with participants and patientsConducts and collects data via interviewsConducts interviews with caregiversMaintains patient and participant charts including editing for completeness and accuracy, and obtaining outside recordsCollects and processes laboratory samplesHelps with maintaining supplies, maintaining an appropriate environment for research and clinical tasks, and performing quality control checksIs willing to learn to use medical and research equipment such as an electrocardiogram  Qualifications:
   Bachelor's degree preferred. Strong interpersonal skill, that are necessary to interact with a diverse group of people including elderly patients, caregivers, and staff. Must have organizational skills. Ability to prioritize, good judgment and decision-making skills. Must have skill in attending to detail and accuracy in scoring test results. Computer proficiency required. Please Note:
