This position is responsible for identifying, managing and implementing projects requiring the application of advanced geosciences skills; performing and overseeing geologic interpretation work; and, assisting in developing prospect and play economics and identifying, evaluating and developing exploration and development opportunities. This position is located in Houston, TX.Minimum qualifications include:
Master's degree in Geoscience and ten years work experience as a Geologist in the oil and gas industry, OR a Bachelor's degree in Geoscience and twelve years work experience as a Geologist in the oil and gas industry. Experience in Gulf of Mexico deepwater region; designing and completing regional geologic interpretation studies; generating and evaluating oil and gas prospects; and, interpreting well logs is required. Must have strong computer-based data management and analysis skills, including the ability to generate geologically related maps.
