Licensure Required 3-5 years experience is required Supervisory experience is required The Pharmacy Director is responsible for the administrative and clinical direction of programs and services as described on the organizational chart.  Ensures that operations are efficient for each program, service and site. Ensures coordination of care, treatment, and service processes among programs, services, sites, and departments throughout the Medical Center.  Maintains awareness of community needs and addresses them appropriately.  Creates an environment that enables the Medical Center to fulfill its Mission and meet Strategic Initiatives.  Communicates mission and initiatives to staff.  Responsible for the implementation and coordination of drug control in the process of providing pharmaceutical care for patients of all ages within the Medical Center.  Plans, organizes and supervises the clinical, distributive, financial and administrative activities of the Pharmacy Department according to hospital policies, standard practices of the pharmacy profession, state and federal laws.  The Director will have overall responsibility for safe medication administration through out the facilities, as well as assuring consistency in the interpretation and application of the patient care delivery model, mission,vision, beliefs and standards of behaviors of the organization.  The position requires a BS or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy, plus a MS in Hospital Pharmacy Administration, MHA or MBA.  Licensure in the State of Nebraska required, with 5 years hospital pharmacy and a minimum of 3 years management experience.   BryanLGH offers Group Medical and Dental coverage, Employer provided short-term disability,  Basic, Supplemental and Dependent life insurance, Paid Time Bank - consisting of vacation, holiday and sick leave time, Matching 401(k) plan.
