Manage activities of self and direct reports in achieving defined quality goals in an efficient, accurate and timely manner. Be directly involved in and where applicable lead multiple process/product improvement projects which may include any of the following ? Kaizan, or other focus groups, design of experiments, validations, development of new methodologies and improving existing methodologies. Lead in the development of customer awareness and understanding activities for areas of direct responsibility, and where appropriate, assist and support such activities throughout the facility. Provide guidance and coaching for the areas of responsibility for less experienced individuals. Recognized by various levels of the facility as an expert in their area and be able to demonstrate leadership ability. Assist with audits/assessments as needed and provides ongoing feedback related to quality issues. Assists and writes validations for computer systems, if applicable Able to perform data mining from various data repositories across Baxter in order to collect data for analyses Performs analysis of various sources of Quality Data using appropriate statistical techniques. Compiles results of data analyses into reports for senior managementUnderstand strategies and be able to invent new methods or new avenues of investigation. Good interpersonal/communication/influencing/negotiation skills. Good project management skills. Working knowledge of FDA regulations and application of Good Manufacturing Practices. Knowledge of and experience using various statistical techniques to analyze various data. Knowledge of data mining techniques, and experience with Cognos, MS Access, Sequel Server, Visual Basic, Bachelor?s Degree (in statistics, science or engineering), Masters Degree in Statistics a plus. 5-8 years experience in Quality or related field in the medical products industry. 2-3 years experience in auditing techniques, interpreting regulations or quality systems. 2-3 years in database construction/maintenance, data mining, data analysis and reporting.Baxter provides its employees with comprehensive compensation and benefits.To view other opportunities at Baxter and to learn more about the company, please visit our Web site at http:
