Requisition 4202BR Job Title Location Atlanta GA Job Responsibilities This position is a working lead in the Shipping/Logistics department. Ensure shipping, stockroom, and quality SOPs are followed. Coordinate workflow, ensuring that workload is completed in a timely and accurate manner. Works with internal and external customers, supervisors, and managers to resolve workflow related issues. Provides timely decisions to affect continuous product flow to internal and external customers. Provides oversight and support of Shipping backlog by maintaining exceptional on-time shipping %. Investigates and determines root cause of process problems; suggests and implements change Maintain neat and organized work area Ensure a safe operating environemnt Supervise the fabrication of wooden crates and skids for shipping purposes. Provides accurate auditing of all OB shipments Work with multiple shipping vendors to ensure competitive rates and on-time deliverability. Working with Stockroom lead ensures compliance with Pick/Pack/Ship Processes Experience/Skills Required Possess basic understanding of Oracle ERP Possess basic understanding of WMS Able to work in a team environment with excellent written and verbal communication skills Work with minimal supervision Forklift Certified or the ability to become forklift certified Must have the ability to verify component part numbers Able to lift 70 lbs on a repetitive basis 3 -5 years of leadership experience Experince in high volume pick/pack/load operations Working knowledge of SAP, FED EX Ship manager, hazardous shipments, LTL shipping, container loading and shipping, INCO knowledge Desired knowledge of carpentry Education Requirements None Travel Required None Citizenship Requirements US Citizenship Required Clearance required?
