Vocera Systems Administrator ? Washington, DC

The Vocera Systems Administrator will manage a Vocera system for one of Vocera?s enterprise customers, including managing the Vocera database, managing Vocera devices, training and supporting Vocera users, and assuring end-user satisfaction with the Vocera solution. This position is based in Washington, DC and will work on site at the VA hospital(s) in Washington, DC. Responsibilities -Manages the Vocera database. Works with the VA clinical and IT leadership to establish processes for maintaining data integrity. Works with clinical departments to keep users, groups and address book entries up to date-Manages Vocera devices. Maintains accurate inventory records. Manages the RMA process. Manages the spares pool. Works with end users to improve device management-Trains users to use Vocera effectively. Works with the VA clinical education leadership to establish training processes for new hires and current employees. Trains users on new features. Provides advanced training and support for Super Users. Maintains training records-Provides onsite support for reporting and resolving end user issues, including issues with Vocera equipment, database and training. Answers end-user questions-Provides onsite support for reporting technical issues to the appropriate support organization. Uses technical knowledge of Vocera system infrastructure to triage technical issues and collect data to enable technical support organizations to resolve issues. Collaborates with Vocera Technical Support and the customer?s IT organization to research, resolve and report on technical issues-Analyzes and reviews Vocera reports with customer stakeholders. Identifies opportunities to improve Vocera performance and adoption.-Designs, develops, and administers end-user satisfaction programs, including regular end-user satisfaction surveys Education, Skills and Experience -Bachelor?s degree or equivalent-Prefer previous experience managing a Vocera system, and/or training Vocera users-Experience providing training in a healthcare environment-Experience managing a database-driven system-Experience supporting end users-Strong skills with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint-Well organized with attention to detail-Excellent written and verbal communication skills-Excellent interpersonal skills-Willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer success-U.S. Citizen required. This position will be onsite at the VA, and requires an extensive background investigation including criminal background check and periodic drug testing. Please apply now at:
