My confidential client a well-respected manufacturer located in Los Angeles, California is seeking an experienced . The Regional Director of Supply Chain Managment will be responsible for directing all aspects of purchasing, production planning/scheduling, inventory shipping and receiving for multi plant operations in the Western United states. This position is located in Los Angeles, California Responsibilities:Global sourcing and initiatives Maintaining MRP/ERP system data Oversee shipping, receiving and planning/scheduling functions Vendor selection and vendor management Initiate strategic plans to create competitive edge to reduce the costs of raw materials Negotiate strategic long-term contracts with aggressive cost reduction targets Responsible for internal logistics. Requirements BS Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Quality or Industrial Engineering MBA a plus 10+ years experience Supply Chain Management in a manufacturing environment 5 years experience sourcing 5 years supervisory experience Superior negotiating skills required Familiarity with MRP and ISO Systems APICS certification a plus!
