Title Nursing Director - Radiology Department Patient Services-Nursing Job Posting Description  Develops and implements programs for the Department of Patient Services which are congruent with the philosophy and goals for the department and the mission and values of Hospital. Provides visionary leadership to individuals and interdisciplinary teams, which ultimately serve to advantage patients and families.   Collaborates with senior leadership, management, and physician colleagues to achieve programmatic goals. The role requires the synthesis of expert clinical/management knowledge and practice responsibility to remain current in the disciplines of nursing and management.  MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS RQUIRED BY THE JOB:
  Work requires the analytical skills to resolve scientific, clinical, human resources, legal, financial, or administrative problems that require the innovative application of the highest levels of specialized knowledge and/or develop financial and operating plans for one of the hospitals major departments/divisions.  Work requires the ability to effectively manage the employees within assigned department/division and to persuade, negotiate with peer-level department heads and/or with external agencies/facilities on issues and programs that impact assigned department as well as several other large departments/divisions, and progressive leadership experience. Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through completion of a Masters degree in nursing or a closely related field and five to six years Radiology experience. Leadership and/or Management experience is essential. Pediatric experience is preferred.    GENERAL SUMMARY:
