The Infection Control Practitioner is responsible for coordination of the hospitals Infection Control/Employee Health program. This program is under the direct supervision of the Infection Control Director and the indirect supervision of the Infection Control Committee and Chief of staff, and in compliance with the established policies, procedures and standards of care. Responsible for all surveillance and education relative to the prevention, detection, identification and control of infectious/communicable diseases within the hospital. This includes analysis and interpretation, evaluation, recommendations, consultation and reporting to appropriate committees. Experience:
