* Cardiac rehabilitation services * Critical, intensive and neurointensive care * Emergency care * Orthopedics * State-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical services * Spine Care Center The Nurse Manager is a registered professional nurse who participates as an active administrative member of the Nursing Management Team. The Nurse Manager assumes 24-hour responsibility in directing and coordinating safe, efficient, and therapeutically effective nursing care for patients on the assigned unit/department. Principle responsibilities include participating in strategic planning, service delivery, program development, evaluation and implementation, budget and resource management, cost control, contract compliance and quality improvement. In addition, the Nurse Manager supports patient safety initiatives and quality improvement activities. The Nurse Manager acts as a resource and assists in problem solving and conflict resolution when necessary. Direct responsibility includes a 14 bed Spine unit. Additionally the Med/Surg Manager will assist with all Med/Surg units totalling 74 beds and over 90 employees Compensation:

Education BSN required MSN preferred Licensure Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in a hospital seeting Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a role that includes leadership, financials, regulatory responsibilities. Knowledge of Meditech a plus Skills Must demonstrate the technical and professional knowledge of a registered nurse Must demonstrate communication and leadership skills Must demonstrate teamwork and team building skills Must demonstrate compliance with hospital policies/procedures and protocols including but not limited to use of the chain of command for both clinical matters and job or employee-related matters in the work environment Must model customer service excellence and lead employees and professional colleagues in the pursuit of customer service excellence Must demonstrate problem solving skills Must role model ethical, safe, fiscally responsible practices Must demonstrate skill in the management of resources, including human, supply, and equipment Must demonstrate computer skills This job has been posted on Absolutely Health Care to Nurse:
